Food Services
The Brentwood School serves meals every school day and students are offered menu choices at the cost of $1.25 for breakfast and $2.00 for lunch. Additional a-la-carte items are also available to purchase ranging from 25¢ to $1.00.Meals can be purchased on a cash basis each day, OR students are provided with the opportunity to establish a “lunch account” for advance payment of meals. To establish a lunch account, parents/guardians can provide a check payable to The Brentwood School and the student’s account would then be debited daily for purchases. Students will be notified of their account balance and the need for additional funds as necessary.
Students may also be provided the opportunity to receive meals “on credit” for a brief grace period, however we reserve the right to discontinue meal service to any student with a balance due that reaches or exceeds $10.00. Parents/guardians who do NOT wish The Brentwood School to extend credit to a student must notify us. However, please be aware that this will mean your child will NOT be served if they do not have cash or a lunch account.
Although The Brentwood School is NOT included in the National School Lunch Program, we may be able to offer reduced meal pricing to qualifying students. To qualify for reduced price meals, student household income must fall within the Federal Income Guideline limits as documented on a current School Lunch Program Application submitted to the school with supporting documentation. Once your paperwork is received, it is reviewed and parents/guardians are notified of their student’s eligibility. The Brentwood School will not be able to offer reduced meal pricing to a student without a completed application.
